Work Tips: Questions To Ask The Hiring Manager During An Interview

The end of an interview can bring many questions.  Generally, hiring managers ask the common question of “Do you have any questions for me?” at the end of an interview.  Below is a look at some questions you may want to consider when the interviewer asks if you have any:

Question 1.  “Where do you (as the hiring manager) see the company going in the next ten years?”  Yes, you can ask this one and you may stump them with it.

Question 2.  “What is a question you really want to ask me, but have not?”  Go ahead and ask it – you know you want to!

Question 3.  “What is an example of a recent work challenge you have faced?”  Both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians face challenges on a daily basis so there should be lots of answers to this one.

Question 4.  “How will I be trained?  “What are some opportunities for professional development?”  Technicians go through many hours of training and your potential employer can give you more information on training procedures and also how you can advance to the next level of work.  Technicians sometimes get promoted to lead technician and some go on to become pharmacists with further education.

The above questions are just a sample of the many possible questions and answers discussed in an interview.  They will give you an idea of what to expect when the time comes for them.
