Bill Submitted to FL's Governor Re: Tech Regulations
Senate Bill 1360 is currently en route to the desk of Florida's Governor for review. The provisions of SB 1360 include registration for pharmacy technicians required by 2010, ACPE-accredited continuing education requirements and beginning in 2011 technicians would be required to have completed a Board-approved pharmacy technician training program, worked 1500 hours under the supervision of a pharmacist or be nationally certified.
This bill was unopposed by the Florida State Senate and approved by nearly 96% of the Florida House of Representatives.
