But, just imagine what studying for the test and taking the test is like for someone with ADHD. Focus and concentration are often a problem and these are two attributes that you must possess to take the exam. Have ADHD and don’t know how to conquer the test so you can become the best pharmacy tech on the planet? Don’t worry, here are some tips help you achieve your goals of passing the test:

Studying for the test. First of all, purchase a good study guide for the test. There are some excellent study guides and videos by Mike Johnston, CphT, and CEO of the National Pharmacy Technician Association. Having the right tools and materials to pass the test will get you one step closer to achieving your goal.

Understand the test. Know the test format ahead of time like how many questions is the exam and how much time you will have to complete the test.  If you are not sure where to begin to study for the test then finding a tutor will help you comprise a study plan such as giving you guidance as to where to start studying, and help you make an outline of important areas you need to focus on.

Contact. Contact your testing center to find out what special accommodations you may be eligible for since you have ADHD. Testing centers are there to help you and can offer special accommodations to individuals who need them.
