  • Define ethics and how it is differentiated from law

  • Define the different levels of ethical decision making

  • Review the code of ethics for pharmacists

  • Describe the four principle approaches to ethical decision making

  • List the steps in analyzing an ethical dilemma and apply these steps to analyze clinical cases

  • Recognize the legal requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Insurance Act (HIPPA) and apply these requirements to ethical scenarios

  • Recognize the ethical dilemmas when providing drug information
