Get Involved

NPTA's Volunteer Involvement & Participation, or VIP program, gives you a unique chance to get involved with a national membership association. It allows you to use your expertise, experience or interests to better the organization and advance the profession - you  have the chance to share your knowledge and benefit others.

NPTA Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is comprised of up to thirteen members whose main purpose will be focusing on organization strategies and planning. Board members will contribute, on average, 20 hours over the course of an entire year through conference calls, meetings and/or research.  Terms are two years, with the option to reapply for one additional term.

 

NPTA Executive Committees

Executive Committees are comprised of up to seven individual members that have expressed interest in a particular effort of the organization, such as education and workplace development, continuing education and professional development or advocacy and regulatory affairs. Committee members will contribute, on average, ten hours over the course of an entire year through the completion of in-depth surveys, conference calls and/or research. Terms are one year, with the option to reapply for one additional year.  

Section Advisory Groups

Section Advisory Groups are comprised of up to seven individual members that are currently employed in a specific practice setting, including community pharmacy, health-system pharmacy, education and training or compounding. Group members will contribute, on average, ten hours over the course of an entire year through the completion of in-depth surveys, conference calls and/or research. Terms are one year, with the option to reapply for one additional term.
